Museum Gustavianum is Uppsala University's oldest preserved building erected in large parts during the 1620s. The name comes from Gustav II Adolf who donated funds and land for a new university building. Previously, the University was run in a house from the Middle Ages south west of the Cathedral.
Getting to the venue
The conference venue is situated within ca 15 minutes walking distance from Uppsala Train Station and Uppsala Bus Terminal.
It is also possible to reach Museum Gustavianum by public transport from Central Train Station/Bus Terminal. You can take bus Nr. 22 (towards Stenhagen) and get off at "Universitetshuset" or bus Nr 20 (towards Graneberg) and get off at "Universitetet". The bus ride takes approximately 5 minutes.
